Arcade machine launch

It's end of term and the last exam was today so we had our get together with students and staff. It was the perfect opportunity to launch the arcade. As you can see it went down very well. This is the end of regular makers club until next term. I think we ended on a high and a really fun make.

24 hours to launch. More paint and details to do but all looking really well.

Finishing touches to arcade cabinet.

Kevin, Aodhan and Darren put some finishing touches to the arcade cabinet. We will launch for beta testing at end of exam get together in Chill cafe on Thursday. Have some decals to do before then.

Only missing a paint job and some finishes now. It plays great and the new screen and sound system are superb.

The cabinet and basic build is essentially complete. A paint job and extensive tests await.

Last week the guys 'installed' the sound system for the cabinet. Pretty simple but effective.
